Monthly Status Report

You will receive a monthly report that shows the current status of all clients you have referred to NASP
over the past 90 days. Use the Monthly Referrals To NASP Form* to help NASP track your clients who have not followed your instructions to register.

Annual Statistical Report

In January of each year (or at your special request), NASP will provide you with a statistical report highlighting
theprofile of clients from your community who have participated in a NASP Program with a comparison to other communities, nationwide.

Comments From Participants

To help you evaluate whether your referrals to the NASP Programs have been beneficial to shoplifting offenders, each January we will send you written comments from participants. Offenders give you feedback about:

What They Liked Most.
What They Liked Least.
The Most Important Things They Learned.
What Grade Would They Give The Program?

Verification Quiz

You may choose to administer a short Verification Quiz* to
clients to assure yourself that the client (and not someone else) is the person who completed their assignment. Remember to tell your clients at registration time that they may need to take a brief Verification Quiz following completion. This will help prevent any wrong doing.

NASP INFO-GRAM

To help keep you up to date, each month you a NASP Info-Gram containing hot tips, fascinating statistics and interesting ideas about increasing effectiveness in handling shoplifting offenders.

The National Report On Shoplifting

This is a periodic newsletter published by NASP. The newsletter seeks to educate the nation about the

shoplifting problem and to encourage a community approach to shoplifting prevention.

The newsletter helps to keep everyone informed about current issues, practical problems which need to be addressed, alternative solutions being sought, programs being implemented and the results achieved.

Each year NASP awards four grants to courts or agencies who wish to do a recidivism study regarding the SA Course or Y.E.S. Program. The purpose of the grant is to
offer communities the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of the NASP Programs in helping to reduce shoplifting recidivism. For details, contact your Client Services Manager.

Spanish Program (For Adults)
