- NASP will take full responsibility for administering
the NASP Programs.
- Referring officers will be given a supply of
NASP Registration Forms to keep on hand.
- Offenders enroll in the Program via mail by completing
the self-addressed and pre-paid Registration Form
and enclosing their tuition fee.
- NASP will administer the NASP Home Study Program
as a correspondence course.
- Included as part of the Home Study Program is
a Psychological Profile Analysis and Risk Assessment
to help identify offenders “at risk”
who need added support services.
- Offenders identified to be “at risk”
may be scheduled to attend a full-day Class Workshop,
which will be conducted by a qualified instructor
who is hired and trained locally by NASP to deliver
this added support program.
- Each offender and each referring officer will
receive a letter with recommendations specifying
the offender’s successful completion (non-completion)
of the program.
|
- NASP allows courts or agencies to
administer the NASP Programs locally
and will train your staff (at no charge) to administer
the program.
- Your court/agency will need to pre-purchase at
least one box of 25 Home Study Kits ($975-$1,125)
to get started.
- Your court/agency will decide on a proper tuition
fee to charge and collect the amount directly from
the offender.
- When a NASP Program is administered locally,
referring officers will need about 6 minutes per
juvenile to grade their Home Study Program and complete
the Psychological Profile Analysis and Risk Assessment
for each case.
- Your court/agency may choose to schedule “at
risk” offenders to attend a full-day Class
Workshop which is conducted by their trained instructor.
